It is a uniform area, hundreds of hectares in size, and highly suitable for battery factories. There is a valid planning reservation for some plots, but plots of different sizes are still available. The GigaVaasa industrial area is dedicated for battery value chain manufacturing. There are also separate plots available for service businesses. The GigaVaasa industrial area can be easily accessed since the street networks are completed. GigaVaasa’s main goal is to provide a carbon neutral ecosystem for a competitive battery cluster. Sustainable plug & play industrial services are in a key role to enable battery value chain investors to focus on their main business. Vast amount of different process pipelines, like industrial water, potable water, sewage, communication fibers, high-voltage cabling routes and cables for street lighting are installed under the streets. The main purpose is to enable fast starting for battery value chain projects.
